Dr. Mika Fu, O.D., M.A.

Dr. Mika Fu graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) and received her Master of the Arts in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She completed internships providing broad clinical experience at the Naval Medical Hospital San Diego, Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, the Center for the Partially Sighted in Los Angeles, and at the Eye Care Center of Fullerton at SCCO. Prior to joining the profession of Optometry, Dr. Fu taught Biology for UCLA and the Los Angeles Unified School District. Dr. Fu also received the Richter International Scholars Fellowship at Occidental College, in Los Angeles, for her Biological research in the rainforests of Costa Rica. Dr. Fu is a member of the California Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. During her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, taking care of her Pembroke Welsh Corgis, and her rescue cats.
Dr. Iris Wong, O.D.

Dr. Iris Wong received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Doctor of Optometry Degree at the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO). She completed her clinical rotations at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital – Greater West Los Angeles, University Eye Center of Los Angeles, and the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. She served as the Local Liaison for College of Optometrists in Vision Development in 2012-2014. She is dedicated to taking care of her patients and their ocular health/visual needs. She can perform eye exams in Spanish and Cantonese. Dr. Wong’s services include comprehensive eye exams, Ocular Disease treatment and management, and Contact Lens fitting. During her free time, Dr. Wong spends time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Dominique Lam, O.D.

Dr. Lam received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology/Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) where she graduated Cum Laude. During her time at SCCO, Dr. Lam completed her externships at Travis Air Force Base, University Eye Center, VA SE Tucson, and VA Vegas where she focused on primary care exams and ocular disease. Dr. Lam grew up in North County, San Diego and is proud to stay within the community and give back by providing the best vision care. During her free time, Dr. Lam loves to spend time with her friends, go to Disneyland, explore new restaurants, and of course, binge on Netflix.
Dr. Kathryn Ordonez, O.D.
Dr. “O” was born and raised in San Diego. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. In the course of her studies, she completed multiple externships where she gained proficiency in the treatment and management of ocular disease, binocular vision disorders, specialty contact lens fittings (including myopia control), and co-management of pre- and post-operative surgical procedures (such as LASIK or cataract surgery). Dr. O enjoys providing family eye care and always strives to help educate patients on their ocular and visual issues. Outside of work, Dr. O enjoys gardening, weight lifting, and taking her miniature schnauzer out on hikes!
Dr. Denton Kimball, O.D. (retired)

Dr. Kimball (now retired) is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry, and was in private practice 30+ years. He established the Optometry Dept. in Student Health Services at the University of California, San Diego in 1975. Dr. Kimball has been a contact lens clinical instructor at the Southern California College of Optometry, and has volunteered at the Veteran’s Administration Low Vision Clinic in La Jolla. Dr. Kimball volunteers regularly in his grand children’s elementary school. In order to maintain sufficient energy for his busy schedule, Dr. Kimball regularly swims, runs, or works out in the gym. He actually stays fit to keep up with his grandchildren.
